Meet the worrier
Meet the worrier offers one bounded practice step without promising a particular feeling or outcome.
Use when: spiralling thoughts, uncertainty
How the practice works
- Read the frame This is a thinking device, not a real inner entity. Stop if personifying a thought feels less orienting.
- Name the situation If the worried thought could state its warning plainly, what would it say?
- Record what you notice What reasonable need or value might sit beneath that warning?
- Record what you notice What grounded answer can you give without promising certainty?
